"Carol speaks passionately about what we can do as individuals to break the cycle of heartache, despair and sadness due to possible bullying, cyberbullying and/or mental health conflicts. We all live within our four walls and sometimes, those walls hold us. Figuring out how we can discover the strengths we all have to ensure a safe and healthy lifestyle is what we need to examine within ourselves."
"On International Women's Day on March 8th, 2018, ten Canadian women were celebrated at #WomenofWorth2018 - hosted by L’OrealParisCanada - for their extraordinary voluntary contributions within their communities and globally. Through laughter and tears, their stories were shared and lasting friendships were created. Her daughter Amanda started a discussion and brought to the world’s attention the consequences of the seriousness of the issues surrounding cyber abuse. Through Amanda's Legacy, Carol has made it her goal to create ongoing conversations to bring further attention to the issues involved. Amanda had a "dream of helping kids", and through Carol's efforts, this dream has become a reality. Carol along with Amanda's Legacy will continue to be a driven and inspiring force in the fight to end bullying and the stigma associated with mental health."
