​Mission Statement
The Amanda Todd Legacy is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting awareness and supporting the well-being of individuals of all ages. We remain committed to our mission of increasing understanding around online safety, exploitation, sextortion, and mental wellness, with a strong emphasis on education in the digital space. Our work is centred on helping families and children navigate healing from trauma and victimization.

Ongoing education and awareness efforts are vital, especially for children, youth, parents, caregivers, and community members. Amanda’s story and legacy have been shared globally across schools, colleges, universities, community events, and professional conferences—reaching audiences in law enforcement, ICAC, social work, psychology, mental health, education, and beyond.​​

How society will reach their goals

  • Awareness, initiatives and campaigns will be supported by presentations, conferences, community forums and discussions focusing on education and safety related to online safety and wellness.
  • Supporting funds to individuals, organizations and agencies who are working to reach the goals as outlined by Amanda’s Legacy and the non-society.
  • Working with agencies to support meaningful ways to promote change where changes need to occur with respect to young people in our communities and how they react and interact.

GOALS (AS DEFINED BY INCORPORATION STATUS)

  • To promote awareness through resources and education related to bullying and cyber abuse.
  • To provide youth and families with mental health resources and support.
  • To assist families in the management of services and supports in their communities related to their needs and concerns.
